For ages, John and I knew each other because of our media works. We were Blessed to worship together at Corpus Christi Catholic Church in Pooler. We smiled to listen to John and you, Diana chat of the grandbabies. May all the memories be as great as John. Angels abide

- Patricia Barbee, Pooler, GA

Goodbye John. It was great working with you at TV46 all those years.

- Lou Johnson, Atlanta, GA.

It is with a heavy heart I want to let you know who deeply saddened and shocked I am at John's untimely death. He called me to have that long-overdue lunch less than a month ago and we had a delightful exchange and he seemed in the good health and wellness. He was so much fun to be with and as a "boss" he was as kind and understanding as any I've ever had. It was an honor to know him and work with him as a colleague but an even bigger honor to call him a friend. Such an outstanding broadcaster and even better human being. To know John was to love him--one of those people you meet and instantly like them. There's a huge hole in my heart that can never be filled. I've never had a brother but if I had, I'd have hoped he would be John. Godspeed!

I’m so sorry about John’s passing. Used to see him at the fox 97 station and laughed forever. He will definitely be missed. Thinking of you and the girls.
